They're going to be spending a couple months fixing all that, though of course I'm sure new heroes are being developed concurrently.
I think the number of heroes is pretty similar to that of Darkest Dungeon... the Crusader isn't there but they added the Runaway. Of the new characters in Darkest Dungeon (Man-at-Arms, Houndmaster, Musketeer/Arbalestier, Antiquarian, Abomination, Shieldbreaker, Flagellant), two are now part of the basic roster and the Antiquarian is in the game (though as an enemy). I think there are actually a few more heroes in DDII than there were in DD when it came out.
And in this case I think I'm not going to stick purely with cosmetics. I'm going to be using the mod that allows you to choose a pet at the first inn, and probably one that filters some trinkets/items out of the game. Tired of stores being filled with unusable junk.
