That's what I thought the answer was, but I was really hoping that I was mistaken.
With any luck it would remove the memories without losing the unlocked slots. Then you could do some easy run and give the hero one a good memory (or multiple). But I have no idea if it actually works like that.
If you open your save directory and go into the "Actors" subfolder of the most recent save, you can easily edit the text files to remove the specific memories that you want to get rid of. You just have to cut out the memory and replace it with the word "null". This gets rid of the memory but does not re-lock the slot.
They really do need to add the option to remove a memory to the game. Chasing that "perfect combination" of memories for a specific build you intend to run would add to the replayability factor of the game, imo.
Well that's unfortunate. Why doesn't it say "kill hero" instead?
Better, why doesn't it just erase memories without touching anything else (including unlocked Memory slots)?
