Report a translation problem
Turns out though, that clicking the filter buttons is all I needed to do, and then it had plenty of stock. It's just weird, because most of the time I do not have to click a filter button, it just shows all of the stock as soon as I arrive at the inn/hoarder/hospital.
I'll bug report it, as you indicated, the next time it happens. I didn't do it this time because the problem was gone after clicking the filter button and I figure that wouldn't be useful. I'll make sure to send the feedback, next time, before I do that.
If this was a visual bug, then there are a few other visual bugs regarding items showing up in their respective slots.
For example, sometimes deleting a trinket fills that now empty trinket slot with the trinket that was to its right, it's purely visual though.
