Who Still Names their Team?

First off, having an absolute blast. Honestly love this one, as much as the first. However...

I no longer have the want, or care to name any of my ppl. Kinda sad. Don't think there's a point, since Im with them for one campaign, and the Memory system is too expensive to even worry about in the beginning. Anything having a lasting effect on the game, seems to be missing.

Wondering if that has effected any of you from getting attached.

I don't mind leaving the default names unless I am feeling it. Feels like I am playing with the memories of the actual characters when I use their "official" names :P

I would enjoying naming the heroes, but the renames are lost with each new run. I wish the renames would stick.

Did you know you can name your pets and even the coach? I named the wolf pup Cheems, lmao

They stick if your hero survived the boss and gained memory.

With the added lore and backstory, I think I'm more attached to these characters than those of DD1. I treat them like each run is a new alternate version of themselves. Sometimes they're ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, sometimes they're wholesome. But I'm always rooting for them.

I always rename them to the same set of names. I imported the names from DD1. Like for example the OG Plague Doctor will always be Petremol to me, I don't care what's her "canon" name.
