question about runaway's Firestarter skill

When you buff an ally with it and they attack, does it use that ally's burn piercing or the runaway's? I hope it's runaways or it's too hard to use.

Prolly the ally's. You can check by checking the target's burn res while mouse overing them while having the skill you wanna hit them with primed. If they pierce the burn res the enemy's burn res number will be lower than usual.
