Breacher - Quirk
So I did a run with the Jester with breacher it was kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ as i needed him to move back 2 spots to stress heal but at least he has attacks to move so I lived with it.

So now on a new run and my plague doctor has this quirk and that is just too much for me. I started and quit the expedition twice now and he keeps starting with it. Do i have to basically die for it to reset? Or am i missing some way to remove positive quirks.

For some reason throughout the entirety of DD2 early access, we never got the ability to remove positive quirks. Presumably because there aren't any quirks that are positive but would impact you in a negative way.

And then there's Breacher.

What do i have to do to lose this quirk? I started a run and let the first group kill me which took like 15 minutes even just passing each turn or moving - avoid healing myself. Started a new game and plague doctor again. What is the trick to resetting the quirks on them?

Cant you just cure them at a hospital? I see a cost listed when I select positive quirks.

Not sure, if dying in the Valley doesn't reset your quirks, I'm sure dying in the first Region will.

Yeah, just don't use Plague Doctor for that run. Sometimes you just get trait combinations at the start that make the hero very unappealing.

Very stupid quirk though. Really needs to be altered, like making it a crossroads-only perk.

No, that locks them in so another quirk won't overwrite them. Dunno why you'd ever do that though.

That is to reinforce them, so that they are not replaced by other positive quirks.

On the other hand, breacher on mma or leper is amazing bordering on OP.

- Okay i will try to run a different group and hopefully that will reset when I start again.

Gotcha, what if you reinforce the other two and then let breacher get re-rolled next time you pick up a new quirk?

It's definitely a curveball. On one hand, one could complain that it sucks (and depending on your strat, it can suck).

On the other hand, if you play with it or try to play around it, interesting and sometimes fun play patterns can emerge.

You can only ever have 1 reinforced perk per hero.

There's an inn item that has a chance of removing a positive perk. Maybe that could work. lol

Requires PD getting 3 positive quirks, then finding a field hospital, spending 64 bobbles, and hoping PD gets a positive quirk from an academy encounter or inn rest.
edit: and then it doesn't work anyway, lol.

You can just not use her for that run.

I agree - But like i said i just did a run with Jester with this and it was interesting to deal with it as It wasn't until turn 3 at best I could stress heal. But the plague doctor...that is to much for me to do back to back.

In this case you could try the surgeon path – once unlocked – or pick teammates that move forward, moving her back.
