It is a bit weird that there’s not even an explanation though.
gg wp
would be nice to encounter them as a mad boss of some sort
not a big deal
There might be later. There are explanations why there is no Antiquarian for example. Personlly I like the mystery. They wouldn't ignore him just for the heck of it.
Perhaps they are saving him for post launch hype. Or maybe even a twisted secret roaming boss. But we all know the Flagellant was the real fan favorite anyways, and he'll be added in 1.0. HYPE!.
Something is planned. Every other character that isn't in the game at least as some kind of Easter egg explaing thier whereabouts. Crusader lore/info is nonexistent.
Thanks, I will keep it on my wishlist until the Crusader DLC comes out. The game will likely expand by then anyway which will likely be more interesting.
"It's not enough to have the skills, you got to look cool too." = Full plate / no face = awesomeness. This is the way.
Thank you all!
They're just gonna resell us some of them later on it looks like ... and that would be disgusting.
Every char in dd2 have more moves and crusaders entire move set from dd1 can be done by other chars, so it's quite possible they did not wanna have a character with moves that 3 other chars can do already.
Give me a helmet to hide a face behind and look awesome and I will be happy. They can apply cosmetics to existing classes or come up with someone else from the order, or just make up something new which is a heavy plate armor user - with helmet.
You get the idea. It was the sole character /class I kept around in the original and made the whole experience fun for me, I wouldn't have played the original without it, the gameplay won me over later, crusader didn't have the best of skills, but I don't really care much for it.
I also won't mind skipping this one, the first is a lot of fun, but I do want the second game to succeed, with or without me. its all good. Not every game needs to have knights, but I usually won't gravitate to those, there plenty of people who will however, no harm there.
