Steam discount for Epic owners?

Will there be any kind of discount for the Steam version for those who already bought the game on Epic? I have bought it since day one and since I don't mind having it on Epic, I would like to have it on Steam too. Let's face it Steam is so much fun, since here you have all this people crying on forums of how the game is ruined, while on Epic no one can do that. :)

I'm afraid 99% no. I have never seen an example where you would get a discount for owning a game on epic.

Or you can play the game on epic and still look at the forums on steam you know ...


There won't be a discount for epic owner but there could be a 1.0 discount at 10% or something similar as it happen for a lot of game that leave early access (even if the early access wasn't on steam)

Yeah, I imagine there won't be any kind of deal for people who bought it on Epic, and I don't care about the forums either, it was just a joke, but future mod support on Steam would be nice to have. In the end whoever bought the early access on Epic, helped with the beta testing and further development costs, so it can get to Steam for full release, so a small token of appreciation from them would be a nice thing!

Why should you receive a discount for the game if you had already bought it on Epic? I mean, why do you need to buy the game twice?

It will have a small sale only for owners for DD1. There is no sale beyond that. It is coming out of EA to v1. The price will also increase.
