Because the Grand Slam requires fighting many different bosses with the same group, and not dying, you're most likely going to want to prioritize versatility and reliability.
You probably want one character capable of tanking, and the Man-at-Arms is highly versatile so it's a good choice here. Hellion isn't at all a bad choice either and provides great offensive options too.
The Plague Doctor is a pretty easy choice here. Great offensive capabilities, including against enemy Ranks 3 and 4, and nice healing and utility too.
The Grave Robber is reliable, which is important here. Her damage isn't the best but it's solid enough and she has abilities to keep herself alive during tough times.
Then it's really up to your preferences. Occultist? Jester? Highwayman?
First team did it with Stygian Blaze:
Ritualist - Deadeye - Scourge - Poet
Second team was from a new profile, Unusual Suspects and no altar upgrades.
First team was easier, to be honest. And no, Death is no threat at all. On the contrary, it's free mastery points.
Seething Sigh will be a massive problem. Your HWM is the only character who can deal any significant damage to 4th rank and stay in position while doing so. If he gets blinded, or loses a crit token for one round, you'll start losing control. If it happens two times in a row, you're kinda screwed.
You can still pull it off with proper preparations (healing items, stacked soaked linen, damage trinkets on HWM), but it's not a trivial matter.
He also should never get blinded if MAA is doing his job.
I'd probably be more worried about being able to hit the front lung, to be honest.
That's just Unusual Suspects. It's a solid team - I also did a Grand Slam with it.
