A unique enemy or mini-boss that I have a really low chance of even encountering in the first place? No thanks. I've only ever managed to encounter Death once in all my time fully completing the game.
Darkest Dungeon had less content than Darkest Dungeon II when it came out. They just kept adding stuff.
Not entirely true. When DD1 was first released to steam in early access it had significantly less content than DD2 but by the time DD1 was fully released there were less content updates and more bugfixes/balancing updates. Then they focused more heavily on DLCs/expansions.
I hope they focus more on content updates for DD2 before pushing expansions/DLCs because it still feels like its lacking content (mostly with heroes) compared to DD1 when it was fully released. Although I do enjoy the increased depth to the current roster of heroes.
Cheers!
