I don't blame any developer for not wanting anything to do with Steam's forums.
The tokens, relationships, loathing and road system in general don't fit well together and the game needs major reworks in those areas on top of lacking a large portion of content
It is. It also instantly curbs all future dlc purchases. Through impatience and my own stupidity i purchased 2 games on EGS about 2-3 years ago. Both games i loved. Both games released 3 dlc each. I would of purchased and replayed the game at least once again to try the new content....But i regret buying them on EGS and im not going to compound my mistake by giving epic more money for their still bleeding cash platform that could shut down anyday now. And im also not rebuying those games.... So i just accept the games dead to me.
Then you get stuff like the new evil dead game or chilvary 2, both came to Steam late. Both were dead by the time they did and did poorly on steam. Turns out new players dont enjoy getting matched into games with people who have a year head start lol...
DD2s only hope for me is it ends up beinf a solid steam deck game that i can pretend isnt a sequel to a much better first game
Hi, I'd like to introduce you to Skyrim modding.
Skyrim engine is owned by Bethesda, they made the game around mods and found a very easy way to inject them. Here, we are far from it... And before anything else, (wasting ressources, manpower and so on) on creative this program, they must be certain it's a viable option because for now, the game is dead on water: no hype, nobody speaks about it, streamers views are abysmall and so on... If Red Hook don't hit hard and fast, this game will have no legs left and will be forgotten.
Just remember, they let the Black Reliquary team have their own steam page because they want to keep people playing the first game. Ask yourself: why ? When they need to sell the second one...
I will never understand why they went to Epic - they were highly established on here and likely didn't need the funding to produce a direct sequel. Instead they took the Epic money, alienated the majority of their playerbase and now it just feels a shameful crawl-back hoping to get paid off again. Completely killed the buzz of the brand and it's such a shame.
It was probably all the death threats when they decided to had corpses and heart attacks.
I'm hoping he becomes a Boss or mini-boss like the Collector. There is always a chance they will bring the Crusader back too in a later update or DLC. Maybe a more twisted version, like what happened with the Flagellant.
I was actually hyped to see we got the Flagellant instead of the Crusader personally.
first of all, there's not even a canon "party" or at least, not that i'm aware of, secondly, the Vestal is one of the few heroes that when selected for the sacrifices, she objects because she's scared ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, unlike the crusader who, like the chad he is he actually approves and immolates himself when chosen, so i don't know, from what i know in one of the earliest preview of DD2 the Crusader's helm appeared in one of the official art of the game, still, if he shows up, whether as a Villain like the Inquisitor or as a Hero later its fine by me, but i have a strong feeling that, if true, it got shafted due to external factors, and i hope i'm wrong.
