Bulletin Requests

Is anybody else just genuinely confused how to get some of the bulletin requests done? I got one for Du wanting to write a message in a bottle and I go to him and he says nothing. There's also similar ones where one of the npcs wanted me to plant some crops but again say nothing about it when I go to talk to them.

I've read the journal entries and unfortunately they are not much help sometimes. Right now I have a quest from Du to buy him some furniture and it says buy indoor furniture at 0% discount which im pretty sure is what i bought (I've bought 3 things now trying to get something to work) and yet I cannot complete the request.

I have the message in a bottle one, talked to Du to get the bottle nothing. No clue what to do.

Anyone have issues with mikkas collect different crops from the islands it doesn’t show how many to collect and I’ve got some the quest doesn’t show on journal either
