Shuts down my PC every 20 minutes
The game is all good but it shuts down my PC if I keep playing for maybe 20 minutes. Not sure if it's driving my CPU or GPU to the boiling point.

I'm using AMD Ryzen 7 3700X and AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT,

Anyone else faced such issue?

Many times, that is caused by the video card(GPU) overheating. Check your fan curve in Radeon Software and make sure the fan is set to go to 80% if it gets up to 80 degrees C for example.

Yes that's what I suspect. Will probably try to lower the quality first. Thanks for the advice.

First of all try to take care of overheating. If not this game, then another will take down your computer. System should be stable even with 100% CPU and GPU usage otherwise it could cause damage to a hardware or a lot of system errors

The AMD software makes it easy to adjust the fan speeds. By default, AMD seems to set the max fan speed to 60% for the different cards I have used(Vega64, Radeon 6800, and on other computers I have checked). I normally do 70% at 70 degrees, 80% at 80 degrees, and 90% at 90 degrees. Obviously, I hope it never gets to the 80 or 90 degree marks when the fans are doing 70%, but with those settings, you will know if it makes the jump to the next fan speed(it gets louder).

I lowered the quality and it has never crashed my PC now.

I have played many demanding games with default driver settings and this indie game is so far the only one that overheats my GPU.

I opened AMD Software Adrenaline Version and couldn't find fan tweaking. It may have been there but I simply want to use most software with default settings. Who would have thought the default settings from the vendor would not try to at least protect my device?...

Go under "Performance", then "Tuning", you will see a GPU section, Then go to "Manual" since it isn't a pre-set configuration. Fan Tuning will then be an option, "Advanced Control" will let you fine-tune your fan curve.
