Downloading it now on another account. From what I have seen doesn't run real good on an rtx 4070 at epic settings.

1440p dlss 3.7 quality mode, epic settings 60-75 fps at the first scene inside the vehicle and even when you get out.

Youll need to bump it down to high and or use a more aggressive upscale.

I will test on amd 6950xt soon. The past handful of games on ue5 seem to run better on Amd gpu's if there is no hardware Rt. This game only has Software lumen which is a software like RT so I am fairly positive it will run better on amd equivalents too.

I have a 4070 Ti Super which feels like it should be plenty powerful for this game but someone was saying they are only getting like 60 FPS with it? I'm going to try the game soon, it's still downloading for me, will report back after some testing

4070ti Super is quite a bump up from the regular 4070. I would think 85+ avg with epic and dlss Q 1440P. It really depends on the settings and upscale aggressiveness.

Yeah I'm running 1440p as well. Will likely try FSR 3 if it's available as I typically like the way it looks more than DLSS unless there is DLAA. Either way I will report back

Also, it's crazy that a 3070 Ti is the recommended card for this game

Same, 4070 Ti Super at 1440P and seeing screen tearing and occasional jitter. I also had to launch the game 5+ times to stop from the "out of video memory" issue during loading shaders. Lol at running out of 24GB of VRAM.

The out of video memory error means you’ve got one of the faulty intel i9 13 or 14k processors. It’s not due to the GPU despite the error message. It shows up when shaders are cached, especially on UE5 titles

Yeah out of memory is a known thing since remnant 2, it is definitely your intel cpu. Google the issue.

As for the game if you have a 4070 - 4090 or amd equivalent I highly recommend just dropping the settings from Epic to High and use 1440p with quality upscale at least.

I gained a huge boost just by bumping Global illumination and shadows to high, or just put everything to high and I was up around 100+ out of the car.

I take it there is no frame gen for this game? It would really improve performance if there is

Not currently. Getting 80-90 in first building on 4090 DLSS quality. 70-85 in the car at the start.

4090 + 7800x3d + 4k + dlss quality = 75 fps on first scene on the car

lol yeah it could use some optimization and I never say anything bad about any game or complain, but this could use some optimization.

Performance really could be a little better....

4070 ti super 60-80fps on max setting 1440p DLAA. in car you'll have about 45-60fps only.
(you will be maybe 5-10% of the game in the car) i'm pretty sure it's using Raytracing for most of the stuff when you turn everything to EPIC settings. if you struggle with FPS just put GI and Reflections on medium and you should be fine.

Ok I started playing.. man, I have a lot of initial thoughts and criticisms, but in terms of performance I'm using a 4070 Ti Super at 1440p and getting around 70 FPS with DLSS on quality and shadows changed to high, the rest is on epic. I'm also running ReShade because there is no native HDR for some reason and it's hardly effected my framerate. I don't like how you HAVE to select an upscaler? I mean what is that! Overall I might put this game on the back burner until it gets a few patches
