People who expect like 50 hours from a game
How come? Is good story telling not something you care about? You just care about the need for unending content for the sake of unending content? That's why quality games are disappearing. People only want more HOURS from the game vs the quality of the content IN the game. I can name a handful of games that are not 50 hours long that are 60 dollars in price but was well worth it for the experience. I may eat my words after this game drops, but if you enjoy a puzzle detective style game, I bet this game will be good. Something like Observer.

Well, 99% of all people are dumb, so they only need dumb entertainment, but they want it long. The longer their lives are somehow occupied (with whatever trash) they are satisfied.

Basically that. Most people are stupid. Most complaints about really anything on Steam are pretty dumb. These same people will review bomb a game because they have to take 3 seconds to use a different launcher or spend 2 minutes making an account they never have to look at or think about again.

May I ask how much play time I can expect?

6-7 hours apparently, but maybe you can get more through exploration

Haven't seen anyone complain about the length of the game, or the price vs length. Are you sure this rant isn't based on something else?

True but then again a ton of times its warranted (not saying write a review and refund cuz launcher tho, that is dumb).

Blizzards Battlenet service is garbage for day 1 releases

Ubisofts Connect launcher for a lot of people makes you have to login every time and in general takes a long ass time to get into a game

Rockstar games launcher is made like crap (nothing more to say, the thing is complete garbage).

I saw multiple posts in the discussions page about the length of the game not equal to the price. Which then made me think about the many other games that I see that nonsense spouted about in other titles. Games that are "only 16 hours" but they have a 60 dollar price and people will complain. I'm just glad it seems the only people to come to the discussions, or at least comment on this thread are level-headed.

Or... Here's a novel concept...

Maybe people think it's a shame that when the game finally gets going a few hours in it's already over.

Mindblowing right, that someone might want *more* of a good thing? Instead of the assumption that more means dilluted you're making.

maybe ppl expect for 50$+ actual gameplay and story unwinded by it (maybe because they already own games with similar pricetag and they can compare those), not around 3-5h long pause/play evening movie. If it's just a movie, then make the movie instead, or stop calling it game... no need to forcely wear movie into game coat and call it a day. Compare this kind of movie games to AC black flag etc with 20h+, or INFRA based mainly on exploration. Detective in future city plot gives damn opportunity for lot of content, but not when u turn movie into 3D coat. Look at Gamedec RPG with similar setup as this game.

Yes and also it's not a good story, it's an unfinished, plot-hole ridden affront to the genre of detective fiction.

I played over 16 hours but I also explore absolutely every corner, enjoy everything that the developers have created in this game, marvel at the atmosphere, the view of the huge city, I don't run from story point to story point, I just enjoy the impressions of these fantastic game world, let my thoughts sink in, give me time to advance the story.

Why is it not a good story? The story is excellent. A story isn't bad just because we might not understand it properly. Do we all really understand the ending of the film Inception, which actually doesn't clear up many questions until the end? Nevertheless, there is a fixed ending, only it is up to each self how he interprets this ending for himself. This is simply brilliant. And here it's not much different. And if this game doesn't have a good story, please name me one that does in your eyes.
