First find your save file in: users > [yourname] > AppData(make sure you have hidden files visibility turned on) > LocalLow > Asymmetric Games LLC > Shadows over Loathing
and save files should be there in the same order as it is in the game menu
Locate (although not necessary, I recommend copying and pasting your save file to somewhere else just in case something goes wrong so you can easily revert it back) and right click the save file with the feathered hat,
and click edit with notepad++ (other text editors might work but I dont have any experience with others),
ctrl + f "[insert hat name]" to find your hat
right above enchantments, you'll find variables "feather" and "hat decal" rows
If its just the placement of the feather that bothers you, you can play around with the hatdecal numbers until you find a look you like
(1st value controls left-right position,
2nd value controls up-down position,
3rd value controls layer priority with high numbers being back and low numbers being front )
if you just dont want the feather at all, you can delete both "feather" and "hatdecal"
Hope this helps! :D
Honestly, I might just jailbreak my switch just to get it off lmao
Good luck!
