The goldfish is the final reward for the boardwalk game. It requires 15 in all stats simultaneously to complete. Once you've got it, it boosts all allies' stats by 3 as its action in combat.
How did you get to 15 stats? I capped out at 13 all around, +1 all from food, +1 all again between potion and booze, I think I have all the relevant perks? I'm at endgame
You can get +1 point in each stat by dying or surrendering repeatedly until you have all the post-death statuses. There's a different boost for each stat. Other than that, there's temporary effects here and there around the map that'll give you stat boosts until the end of the day and you might need all of them to get to 15.
For companions, I'm oddly attached to Barker- not sure if he's the best or anything, but I like him.
How do you get him anyway? I beat him up the first time I took a Botany major because there was no other option.
Molly is pretty cool but I switched to Simone later because robots are cool and I really wanted to find out what was up with chekov's gun.
I took the Botany major, then when I explored the place where Barker was I found his dish and then filled it with the plant drink that was in I think a shed in the same area- then I gave that to Barker
I really hate that you can't reload in this game. I wanna go for another major in my next run, but Barker really seems like an interesting companion I'm really guilty skipping.
