Shadow taint

i am currently shadow taint level 1, all the rifts need level 4 or 5 to open, i dont want to continue as i just started the final chapter and i need level 5 for a unique interaction. does anyone know how to get shadow taint to level 2?

Just eat the shadow stuff. You can randomly find these in Ch.5 worldmap interactions if you don´t have any. Keep in mind that you cant talk to some people anymore if you have it at lv5

thank you i didnt realize you had to eat a bunch

Is there a way to lower shadow taint? I hit level 3 on accident not knowing it locks out interactions.

Once you start down the forbidden path, forever will it dominate your destiny. In hindsight, kind of glad I didn't do it my first playthrough.
