Cold armor book

Is the book missable? I keep seeing that I’m supposed to buy it from Ovids store but I already moved Ovid to the hobo camp. So I guess I just miss I really big portion of defense??? Or can I get it from the wandering guy?

The Cold Armor book is missable. DO NOT SEND OVID TO HOBO CAMP BEFORE SHOPPING HIS INVENTORY FOR THE REQUIRED ITEMS

What you need to buy from Ovid is an initially useless book - "His Majesty's" something something, I forget the name - that later becomes the cold armor book when you drop it in the H*** Hole in Ch. 5.

I know the general way to get the book, but what im asking is: if Ovid goes to a different place, do i miss the option to get it entirely?

Isn't the cold armor book "I choose not to be cold", a series of stories about how the author "would never have put themselves in that situation", etc. Isn't that in the SIT map?

I may be getting my books mixed up though.

While that would indeed make logical sense, that book is actually for hot armor.

what's extra wild is the books were originally cold armor and hot armor respectively, and a patch switched them to the nonsensible way
