Pacifist guide?
Greetings, I am starting my second playthrough and I would like to do it the pacifist way, could someone please summarise what it means? For example, can I start fights with random encounters and then lose them, or do I always have to surrender and starting a fight is an immediate failure?

Also, I am quite stuck on prologue. I dont seem to have any idea how to defeat the enemies there without resorting to violence. Pls help.

Oh. Oooooh. I just realised that maybe the developers did not think it all out and I am not supposed to do the whole prologue perfectly (with the cat) if I am doing pacifist? That would make sense then.

you can get the cat without violence

There's an option in settings called Pacifist you can turn on, it will lock you out of any combat so you don't accidentally put yourself in a situation where you have to fight/misclick into a fight.

After that, it basically comes down to finding alternate ways to do the "usual" quests, though a few will be unavailable due to needing violence (they will be greyed out with that Pacifist setting on), but you can go through the game relatively easily, with puzzles and stat checks being your only hurdles

You don't need to defeat the enemies to make it through the prologue, you just can't 300% the prologue as a pacifist. Easiest thing is to turn on the Pacifist checkbox in the settings to save yourself any misclicks.

I'd love to know this as well, since you can't find Beppo's hole without fighting the faries

You can't enter any fights on a pacifist run, to be clear.
