Less loud stupid walking?

The various shoe effects are very funny but they're also a bit excessively loud- An option to turn it down or mute it would be appreciated.

Absolutely, it should at least be mutable. Amusing at first but quickly becomes distracting and doesn't sound good when layered against the background music.

Of the ones I've encountered, it's the ones that play fairly loud and constant music which clashes against the game's background music. I didn't mind the silly walks in WoL as they were purely visual.

Bothersome

• Mob dress shoes (music)
  
• Rubber shoes (not quite quite as bad as the others because it's not music but hard to imagine playing the whole game listening to it)
  
• Foot gloves (loud)
  
• Cow shoes (would be okay if bell, cow sounds were infrequent)
  
• Flip file flip flops (music)
  
• Pipe shoes (music)
  
• Crab clogs (music)
  
• Single shoe (not quite quite as bad as the others because it's not music but hard to imagine playing the whole game listening to it)
  
• Sandals (loud)

Good by my standards (although others in this thread may still wish to mute them)

• Wide loafers (not very noisy, no music)
  
• Sneakers (no sound)
  
• Vampire boots (no sound). I thought maybe they triggered spooky music at first but maybe not? I wear these primarily. (Edit: Actually they do play spooky music in the speakeasy so it seems like maybe there's a bug? Either way, quiet vampire shoes work for me.)
  
• Heavy boots. Makes sense they're loud.
  
• High heels. Makes sense they clack against the ground. Not too loud.

i know this is gonna sound horrible but for me it is most of them. i have a hearing issue where sounds get muddled and difficult to parse out and the irregular sound shoes make often is stressful which is a shame since i adored walking stupid(50+ hours in that game and i never turn it off) and really like most of the shoe options. i mostly just wear vampire boots now even though i would have loved to keep wearing the heels and the saddles and the 1# best shoes in the game; crab clogs
