Bug: softlocked in the sickle curse (solved)

I entered the curse, knocked on the door of the house, saw a scarecrow guy run behind the cornfield, and then nothing happened. After searching the whole area, i still didn't know what to do, so I watched a walkthrough. In the walkthrough, the scarecrow appeared from the field when you stop walking. I tried this, but it didn't work. I have also tried closing the game and reopening it again, but that also did not work . I am currently still softlocked and can't do anything.
EDIT: I have changed my save file so that i am inside the antique store. I am no longer softlocked but still can't do the sickle uncursing quest

How do you change the location of your save file? I also have this bug and have been stuck for ages.

How to change the location of your save file:
1. Search for the save file at C/users/appdata/name/locallow/asymmetric games llc/shadows over loathing
2. grab the newest save and copy it to somewhere else just to be sure you still have it if something goes wrong
3. open the save in notepad++ or a simalar program
4. go to location and change it.
