Shoes No Longer Working

So I'm loving the various shoes, however I just found Saddle Shoes and since equipping them my other shoes are not working properly (they no longer show the right animation/sound). My vampire boots seem to be ok still, and the berkenglocks, but everything else just don't work. Which is annoying because I was really enjoying my Single Shoe!

I've tried swapping back and forth between various pairs, I've tried zoning, I've tried map travel, and I've tried coming out of the game and the back in again but nothing fixes it.

Anyone else had this or any ideas how to fix it?

This seems to have resolved itself the next (real life day). It might have needed the pc to be restarted but it's ok now. I have not tried the Saddle Shoes again just to be safe.

I didn't experience this with the saddle shoes, but I know that it's possible for your shoes to be overridden with other effects. If you drink too much, for example, your walk becomes drunken until the end of the day. I think in that case the vampire boots do still work. Maybe something adjacent to that?
