Goldthwait Park as a pacifist?

So I'm starting a pacifist run and I noticed the "exterminator" option is grayed out for pacifist but the carnivorous plant (can't remember the job title) one wasn't, and that made me wonder if there's a way to get rid of the plants without combat. Also I heard the bugs in the park can be talked to with enough mysticality, so I figured I should ask about that as well.

Is there a way to complete all the park sidequests as a pacifist, or is it locked off like other quests?

The bug one was the one I had felt would be able to be resolved without combat, since they are all just having fun. With the plants I wonder if you just need weedkiller or something. Wasn't the job literally gardener? I'd try leaving the job open until you can get to that overgrown plant related SIT dorm (can't remember their names). Thats my guess.

You were right, I found some weedkiller in the maintenance shed in the park. You need 3 Myst or Cryptobotany to grab it though.

It's very late game; you'll know when you can use it.

It's since been patched to require 11.

I think whether it's 11 or 9 would depend on what difficulty setting you're on. 'Fights, stat challenges, and some puzzles,' it says.

To answer the original question: it is possible, but you'll need to turn off pacifist mode momentarily just to get access to the butterfly house. This will not ruin your run as long as you don't harm the crickets.
