Stuck in mob questline (day 5)

So I'm trying to finish the mob questline again in my 6th save so far and I've gotten stuck at the part where they ask you to fight off some guys at the black gold mine and I do remember doing this part before! But this time I can't seem to get inside! I've checked the nearby van already, Is there something else I forgot to check before being able to get in?

did you read through the book in the trailer? pretty sure that's what triggers the trapdoor option
