At 3 you can open the the telephone drawer and dresser drawer to get 5. Then talk to Charles and shake hands for 6. Read the book and magazine to reach 8, write on the To DO list for 9, sign Jessica's form for 10, then PET the cat (not eat) for 11. Then turn on the radio.
Somebody Else's Problem: This one took me a bit too. One of the early quests should be delayed until you reach a certain level of understanding...

Full spoil: Hold off on doing the cricket quest until you get Mysticality 9, then you can talk to them. They'll give you an item to use on the portal in the final encounter. Use that item. That's it.
Your Neck Will Go On: This you get for obtaining a certain item
Hint 1: It requires Chemistry and is found in the Big Moist.
Full Spoil: You need to make Barnacle Dissolver in the Chemistry lab, so need to be a Chem major. Take it and a diving helmet to the mob submarine int he big moist. Use the dissolver on the barnacle-crusted box in the flooded section, and you'll get a necklace with +7 all resistances.
