Gumbuckle mine puzzle?

Has anyone figured out how to do the mine puzzle in the 2nd area? I've been able to go down the elevator but I'm stuck on how to proceed. I'm guessing you need to use the dynamite but I can't seem to access it

Go to the hardware store and you'll find a way to get some poison for some wood nibblers

Its very convoluted but ill try to explain it.
there is a wooden beam in the old time mine that has termites (little dots) all over it, walk over to it and you character will say about the termites on the pole.

Leave old time mine and go to the hardware store, and ask the owner about termite poison as to which he will say he used to have it, so you need to go through the time door in the back of the store and ask the old owner, who will point to a shelf and you just walk over and buy the poison straight off the shelf.

head back to the mine and go through to old time mine, use the termite poison on the beam and head back to present time mine.

Go into the mine which will now not be filled with rocks, so you can grab a dynamite from the safe.
Don't put the dynamite in the present time rock, instead go to the old time mine and put it in the big rock there. Now all you need to do is head to the present, light the dynamite (you need a match, you can get one from wandering in ocean city) and the face of the rock will blow off.
Go tell the crystal store owner and quest complete.

Go back in time to get the key from the coat on the coat rack in office, unlock cabinet in present to open it and get elevator grease. Go back in time again to grease elevator before it got all rusted.

Any idea where to get another stick of dynamite? I used the one I found in the present so I need another. Hoping that I can buy one somewhere but I've checked all the stores I've unlocked thus far and no luck!

You can keep getting more dynamite from the unlocked underground cabinet in the present.
