How to do the drawing maze thing?

I cannot for the life of me figure this out. I've been at it for an hour now and a solution is not presenting itself. I tried watching videos and I still don't understand the logic to get from A to πr^2...

If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it, I'm trying to make a video and the editong's already going to be a nightmare for this section. The longer I'm at it, the more there is to cut...

[Misfit Village]

The doors have markings embossed in them and under the markings they have a picture. You have a picture in your inventory. You need to create a picture that's the same as the one in your inventory by going through the doors multiple times. For instance you need to go through the door that has a Sun above it until the door with the Sun above it is exactly like in the picture in your inventory. Then you need to go through that door with the Sun on it to "confirm" that you added that to the picture. Go through all the doors until the picture on the doors is the same as the one in your inventory.

Thank you. Fwiw, I normally hate puzzles because I'm bad at them lol, but with this one, even as frustrated as I was I can appreciate how cool and original it is. Really love this game!
