If you've ever played Control, that's also very similar to how the SCP foundation is.

Im curious, did the SCP Lore came late into Development?
It feels like its just been stamped onto the Game to get more players Interested.

I don't care for made up lore.

As for SCP stuff, I wouldn't be surprised if that is a brand/thing the Dev wanted to use to rake in more players. Look at all the SCP type games on Steam (same with the Backrooms stuff)

Just seems like a lot of Devs are cashing in on popular things.

@sinistrum It wasn't stamped onto the game late in development. Ever since I found out about the SCP universe I thought my "camera that can see into another dimension" was a great fit. I only had that gameplay element before I decided it would be an SCP game. That was in 2019. Before I even had a name for Annie or any of the story parts. I then started coming up with the Replication Division and the whole twist that the prologue of the game is "fake" and is happening in an SCP facility.

Ah, well.
It feels like its been stamped on, especially the part where a "D-Class" has an actual Office.
But, artists freedom i suppose.
