"The SCP Foundation is a fictional organization featured in stories created by contributors on the SCP Wiki, a wiki-based collaborative writing project. Within the project's shared fictional universe, the SCP Foundation is a secret organization that is responsible for capturing, containing, and studying various paranormal, supernatural, and other mysterious phenomena (known as "anomalies" or "SCPs"), while also keeping their existence hidden from the rest of society." - wikipedia
If you've ever played Control, that's also very similar to how the SCP foundation is.
Im curious, did the SCP Lore came late into Development?
It feels like its just been stamped onto the Game to get more players Interested.
I don't care for made up lore.
As for SCP stuff, I wouldn't be surprised if that is a brand/thing the Dev wanted to use to rake in more players. Look at all the SCP type games on Steam (same with the Backrooms stuff)
Just seems like a lot of Devs are cashing in on popular things.
All the SCP games (there are even free ones)

Ah, well.
It feels like its been stamped on, especially the part where a "D-Class" has an actual Office.
But, artists freedom i suppose.
