They explained it as well as assimilation.
A system I have yet to be convinced of that it actually does something.
As for the plea: I've seen a button prompt after I was downed but not the last one alive in our team. It was in the bottom left of the screen and read "plea for help". I didn't try it, but that's where i've seen it.
I thought I was simply dead in a exfil chopper but I hit plea for help and it kicked me out of the chopper onto the LZ. I used proxy chat to let my original team know I was just down the hill, they came and revived me and I was able to exfil with them I got mission credits but I believe my gear was lost. We did have enough time left to get the final exfil before radiation hit.
Just a note, I made it out on the 4th exfil that mission, the first we were rushed by a lone assasine(sp on purpose), I forgot what happened on the second, the third was above incident and of course the 4th was the final successful exfil.
Sooo.. That is just one way it can be used. Without it, that mis communication or whatever happened would have been my only exfil and I would have lost everything.
Started with a team of three. Kill one player. That player pleads, we take him and end up a four man team. Then my other two players run off to chase after a lone player in a building, both get downed. I rush to rescue them when I get invited into the killer's team. I accepted and arrive just in time for my new friend to get gunned down by my former fourth team mate. He shoots me, I stick him with thermite... we're all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dead.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
What a hoot!
You could look up the word assimilation alone on YouTube and it would still show you hundreds of MW2 videos of people not only explaining how it works, but also showing you how it works. You are lazy and what you added has no bearing on this discussion.
What you said also added nothing lmao
1. You must be in a squad of at least 2.
1a. Plea For Help is not an option if your "squad" is "eliminated." This is why as a solo player, you will never be able to plea for help, because once you're down, your "squad" is eliminated and the game is over for you.
2. Get killed. Not downed; killed.
2a. At least one of your squad must still be alive.
3. On keyboard, as you're watching through a surviving teammates helmet cam, press and hold F. Fill out the bar. I have no idea how to plea for help on controller, so just smash it repeatedly against the wall like the poor you are until it magically works.
4. Once the bar is filled out, the camera will focus on your corpse.
5. Pray.
6. If someone comes across your corpse while you are dead and your teammate is still alive, they will have the option to heal you, or loot you.
6a. If they heal you, you leave your squad and join the new one.
6b. If they loot you, your plea for help is cancelled and another operator is richer and has a fancy new gun.
7. If, in the course of your plea for help, all your surviving squadmates are killed: Your squad is eliminated, your plea for help is cancelled, and the game is over.
8. If, in the course of your plea for help, your surviving squadmates join another team and leaves behind only dead squadmates like you: Your squad is eliminated, your plea for help is cancelled, and the game is over.
Yo this is great information, thanks for taking the time to share.
I've seen this bug out a few times including once where I revived a guy and he was still an enemy.
