make bots drop plate more reliably, with bonus plate if you headshot them
make 3 plate a little more common OR make it cheaper at buy stations
solo queue
tone down the volume of heavily armored bots towards the end, feels like you drown in them if you end up in 1 spot for more than 1 minute or 2, keep the same number of bots but throw in some unarmored ones instead
give me a reason to extract with certain loot aside from xp/cash, let me make use of it like Tarkov
let me extract and stash more than just guns too, maybe large backpacks and plate carriers
If i can trigger an extract it should always arrive, Ive had the Radiation close an extraction after Ive triggered it and the chopper didnt spawn
- when your done all the quests and have unlocked everything... now what. Good gameplay loops keep people playing, not mindless grind by itself.
- add in an item, that allows you to summon a chopper of NPCs that will not attack you, but will act normally towards other players. Imagine the chaos of an attack team coming in as your xfil'in... or calling for backup if your outgunned and overrun. Calling in dogs could be fun too. Maybe drone attacks.
- day/night cycles... night will make it harder by virtue of darkness.
- add weather effects. picture thick fog rolling in for a bit, heavy rain, or a thunderstorm (you already have a small one in game)
- while zombies might be overdone, you could add some sort of rampaging threat that moves from A--->B and could overrun your position.
- randomize number of enemies in an area.
- Planting secrets on the map, or having a random event spawn.
- reasons to squad up with 3 other players. I had a positive run with some random players, we got attacked twice and almost didnt xfil. Imagine grouping up for a super stronghold mission or something.
It should have a layered spawn system. Let's say the cloud is in Al Mazrah. You'll definitely have bucket bois and blue bois in Al Mazrah, and find their patrols rotating between the city and nearby points. The chances of finding them in the nearby points is lessened, but not low. The nearby points will have mostly regulars and regular patrols. Going out further, the Quarry, Caves, Observatory, and Pass will have mixes of regulars and militia. Beyond that, militia and maybe the cop/merc mobs if they added those.
I feel like this would add depth to the difficulty of the map, give some environmental story telling, and provide variety to the encounters you find in each play through.
edit: spelling
Also I love Valius's Idea about the Weather and the day/night cycles.
