Like it sez ! I don't know if it's just a controller thing or just plain panic hopping by newbs but there are other moves, save that crap for Donkey Kong. I've been playing this game since it's intro back in the day and it gets worse every release.

It's not just a controller thing. I do it on PC. The more erratic movement you have, the aim assist can't sometimes miss a shot or two.

Use that in conjunction with the conversion kit that adds super strafing speed and it is hilarious.

Agreed but not as prevalent as it is nowadays or maybe it's just the lobbies. We all have done it grant it but in and out of rooms and all over the map for no reason is sick.

Battlefield did it best back in the day, when you jump, you cant shoot till you land.

same thing needs to be for slide. its getting really dumb watching people slide around the map shooting, it looks extremely dumb and generic.

Nah, best Bhop was pre 1.6 CS but not in CS but rather, in the HL1 engine that 1.6 was based on. Best Bhoppers were always the TF, QWTF and TFC players.
