2. shadowbans are usually due to chat violations
The community is extremely bad and will report anyone who's better than them.
For this is the logic of the average call of duty player.
"I got killed, so they must be cheating! I am the only good player in here!"
Don't waste your money on Activision Blizzard.
Call of duty is a lost cause, paying 69,99 a year for the same with slightly updated textures and models each year. It's still a game with 0 spray control mechanics and onyl randomized patterns. Creating this hilarious delusion within the community that firing over 2 bullets and getting a kill is actual player aim and skill and not pure randomized numbers calculating your chance on a free kill isntead. ( It's 100% RNG 0% player skill) as a player you can't influence RNG other than applying accuracy improving attachments that increases your random chance.
If you want a fun FPS but skilless experience, you're better off playing battle field V
Shadow bans, aren't prema bans based on cheating.
It's just triggered after x amount of reports have been made with various reasons.
And the Anti-cheat not being able to notice anything.
I got shadow banned countless time in Van Guard.
Not because I am good but mainly because I am making good use of newly introduced game mechanics. I for example was the first palyer to notice piercing sight was broken and especially on the map castle.
As you can clearly see in this video I recorded.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GNKp1-iq3o&ab_channel=NetramC
stop being toxic and/or cheating and you won't get bans
Yeah it does and it has been indeed confirmed and proven that shadow bans are automated bans based on a script counting x amount of reports.
Did you see my youtube video?
that's me palying vanguard, am I cheating? no.
What happened? I won the match in under 3 minutes with 59 kills and 2 deaths.
people report me, I get shadow banned rinse and repeat.
Get good, not mad.
i also like how you didn't even bother changing your username and it's just user<random number> as you're playing on a throwaway cheater account nah it doesn't, enjoy making new accounts forever cause you can't play legit
Siiigh,
I am providing you facts and proof.
And still you're deluded.
Yes username random number is given after you've been shadowbanned.
And in order to change your tag you had to pay extra.
I don't know how it is these days, eventually after submitting multiple tickets @blizzard they finally gave me 2 rename tokens.
So once again you're talking out of your behind not knowing what you're actually talking about.
They did in mw 2019 and Vanguard don't know if they still do that.
I think they don't do that anymore now that COD is back on steam.
Why would they change your name?
Was it toxic?
Becoming pretty clear why you were shadowbanned 20 times.
the report only give a warning to the Ricosh1t's AI about the player, imagine it like "huumm, Ricosh1t, this player is suspicious, can you look at him ?!"
and that all... but after that, if the AI start to investigate the player it will enter into the limited matchmaking aka "shadowban"
there's so many reasons (according to EULAs that everyone agreed before installing the game) to become suspicious and most of the time players forget it
