Packet burst/loss every so often and just got worst.
The spawns, just plain bad.
The SBMM.
Don't know if this counts, but this whole CoD HQ. Have to launch MW2 to launch MW3, which will close itself to reopen.
+1
I love the return to the old school XP popups, and the text style.
I like the new additions to the pistols, specifically the little Mac-11, though that brings me to my main issue with the game:
The recoil and screen-shake.
Trying to even burst fire can result in you aiming at a doorway and somehow end your burst aiming at a window. As someone who would often push 30~40 kills per game in MW2, the recoil here has me struggling to make it past 10~15 per game. I can have a good target on someone's head or body at midrange and still only get 3-5 hits.
With the TTK being made longer than MW2, the recoil and INSANE flinch are just far too high. I'm not saying everything has to be a laser gun, but it's honestly making me physically sick at my stomach and barfy because of all the shake and jitter going on. To the point that unless it's toned down, I might have to just get a refund because I'm not paying $80 to projectile vomit all over my screen.
And I'm used to playing games like Ultrakill and MW2 wasn't THAT bad about the recoil. I'm actually terrified to see how bad the recoil gets on something like the Vektor
I enjoy the movement, though I'm not a fan of the return of bunny-hopping. Slides requiring specific gear to ADS is a HUGE plus, and makes sliders have to give something up to utilize the mechanic properly, but I'm still just not a fan of the slide-jumping stuff in general. The servers just aren't ever good enough to keep up with everything happening at high speeds, so you end up going through hitmarker hell when people are dolphin-flopping into a run-slide-jump and spinning around corners at mach 3.
I do NOT like the jump-to-hang time though, even with climbing boots. Sometimes you just want to hop a short wall and get stuck doing a hang and it's just not something that needs to be a part of the game outside of something like campaign. I've never ran into a single situation where hanging was useful, since it just makes you a massive stupid target that can't aim at people aiming at you from behind, and climbing up to turn and fire leaves you completely open for far too long.
Overall, I'm really hoping for the Zombies mode to carry the game for me. It looks so good, and I'm really sad there wasn't any zombies mode for the beta. It makes me worried too, because MW2 has bugs in co-op that have been there since launch, and I hope they're going to actually pay attention to and make sure Zombies works well, because if not that's going to spell the death knell for co-oping in CoD. Cold war had a REALLY good zombies mode but it was just not given enough time to properly improve.
Hell, I wouldn't mind seeing zombies mode becoming a F2P mode. I bet you people would SWARM in to play (pun completely intended) zombies mode if it wasn't tied to a $80 campaign that 90% of people won't touch and a multiplayer mode where getting shot in the leg makes your aim go 40 degrees sideways.
It feels more mature than reflex shooter.
I LOVE how they removed enemy name tags bcs now you can actually sneak and move forward without being automatically spotted. This opens doors to new tactics and it brings value of your life and progress through your ideal mission.
I love how there is NO Extreme SUNLIGHT and it feels much more pleasant to eye.
Also I love how there is no excessive KILL STREAK spam where you die constantly on your every move with non stop bombardment. You can make your little mission to go from one place to another and use your movment skills and coordinaton without dying from autoaiming and killstreak spamming.
It would be good idea to make VEHICLES more customizable like infantry.
Just go more to Battlefield direction and less of childish mindless reflex shooter spammer.
Also there is 0 WOKE BS. I love the way COD mw3 is going. Please keep it up!!!
