So far we are not sure if they're going to go this route for the full game. They made it SEEM like it would be seamless when they announced the CODHQ launcher. Since all games will not only share an engine moving forward, but will be also sharing files, I would hope that it loading into a separate executable is a beta issue only, but its Activision so we will more than likely get screwed in the end.
i join off a friend and my game goes to desktop . as im telling my friend my game crashed i tell him to go ahead without me. unbeknownst to me it was actually launching MW3 which resides within COD i guess??? such a stupid "platform" i guess they are trying to do a Gaas (gaming as a service) and so far it is PATHETICALLY bad.
You find it in Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty HQ\mp23
But running that .exe directly from folder does nothing.
Really stupid idea.
Imagine paying 80 current money for these games only to be greeted with endless up-selling and nagging. Shameless.
