I want fast paced multiplayer cod like shooter. any good alternatives?

you got xdefiant coming out soon, that's really the only thing I could come up with that is like cod.

No, that's the main reason it could survive this long. Any other shooter either goes for too much realism, or turns it into a cartoon world.

If you don't care about graphics, get the OG Modern Warfare from 2007. Has punkbuster anti-cheat and dedicated servers. Promod fleshes out the movement and you have pretty much all maps from the older games up to like B02 and more, not mentioning the custom ones.

Sadly it's mostly dead, I would love to play it in it's prime again.

Because it is a whole different game homie, it's not just multiplayer. You got a campaign, zombies and maybe a spec ops(highly doubt) but that's what makes it another game.

just play cs2, its not fast paced but once you get used to cs you wont want to play casual games like cod as much anymore.
