It's more than just an update lmao
If you don't care about graphics, get the OG Modern Warfare from 2007. Has punkbuster anti-cheat and dedicated servers. Promod fleshes out the movement and you have pretty much all maps from the older games up to like B02 and more, not mentioning the custom ones.
You realize that's been happening forever now, right? That's what a yearly release cycle is. Heck, they didn't change their engine from 2007-2019.
Maybe stop repeating what some youtuber said and come up with your own thoughts.
Is it worth 80 bucks? No. But it's also not an inferior product in the sense of value for your money, because it's literally the same thing they have been doing forever.
