the controller vs mouse & keyboard debate is stupid

like, i'm a controller player and i understand that aim assist is a lil bit overpowered but come on now. can't controller players and mouse & keyboard players get along? for crying out loud this whole debate is really annoying and it needs to end.

That is the typical perspective of a controller player. As someone that uses MKB exclusively, I can say that it is disheartening to see in the kill cams how the game allows your type to track down opponents with no real skill on your part. The whole system is geared to appease the likes of PS and Xbox users. According to the numbers, PS has the most players, but PC is second, with Xbox a distant third. So go ahead and use your advantage while you can, but know that it is really not that far from using hacks. Both are disingenuous and should be banned with the severest repercussions.

I don't care what input people use, I hate the cronus users, wallers, esp, whatever someone's hack or cheat of choice is. To hate factory input options is relatively stupid. Like just cause I love vanilla icecream doesn't mean it is the defacto best flavor of humanity or else banned. I get people want input based MM, that would resolve a lot of this, however "The grass is always green where the cows are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.".

I don't think it's they can't get along, it's the fact that the devs refuse to address or try to fix the issue. Even Halo gave pc rotational aim assist as well to try and combat how strong controllers were.

The fact that the top ranks and pros are all on controller is a clear sign that M&K is at a disadvantage.

It's a cheat and nothing else!!! There's no need to discuss it at all, without this aim assit no console player would have even a small chance against a PC player with a mouse and keyboard.

btw a controller player whitout aim assist can't beat a mouse and keyboard, but a controller player whit aim assist is op against a mouse.

I play k/m always have, always will.
I think the normal aim assist on controller isn´t a big deal.
I can deal with controller users just fine most of the time but what gets on my nerves is the cronus users, you can see in the killcams how they have literally zero recoil and how their crosshair is glued to the target even if you are moving fast, sliding or jumping.

I think people assume that that is the regular aim assist but it´s not.

controller plus cronus is the same thing as cheat software with m/k.

activision need to ban cronus on all platform but hey pretty much all streamers use cronus and get away with it.,

I fully understand the need for the basic level of aim assist where the aim slows down over a target due to the differences between analogue and digital input. But rotational aim assist where the game itself moves your aim for you has no place at all in any sort of competitive game.

I don't think anyone is against controllers in the first place. The real problem is aim assist that is too strong. There are plenty of shooters that have crossplay and barely anyone outside COD complains about controllers being too OP.

aim assist is same its software its not hardware hint its a cheat just built in to game for noobs
