I'll tell you the summary, When Activision still didn't have the goose that laid the golden eggs, they let you do anything in their CoDs, in the first CoD in 2003 the community created many incredible mods, both for the campaign and for multiplayer, dozens of maps as good as the originals, more violence and everything you can imagine, extending the life of the game for more than a decade, I was playing it for eight years in a row almost every day, the same thing happened with the second title and the same with MW4, then they started with all the shady stuff up to the present day, once the game already had worldwide fame and thousands and thousands of players, the excessive greed of a company that left the player aside to just see numbers began. Taking the debate of this post to copyright leads nowhere, it is a fact that Activision has stolen from players by discounting a CoD when they never discount anything to profit from the mod that was going to come out to crush it after having known for a long time of its development.
Activision stinks and greed breaks the wallet, there are a million complaints a day in this forum due to the poor quality of their games and their rush to release an annual dump full of errors just to collect more money at the expense of the player.
Whoever wants to understand, understand, there is no one more blind than he who does not want to see.
Ash - This post is about the H2M Mod. You have copied over 5000 words from another post word for word and are spamming the forum with off-topic information to push your agendas. Posting 5000 word posts is inappropriate.
As an example - In your post, you meantion off-topic information about KettlesSon, who is on the opposite team in my youtube video. This has nothing to do with H2M Mod.
My video only shows MWIII content for entertainment and has nothing to do with the H2M mod whitch is MW2 (2009)
If you keep hijacking posts, changing the subject or posts 5000 word walls of text - I will report you to the moderators.
seems everybody saw this coming apart from the people that made the mod.
That's not true. In the first CoDs the community made many mods of all kinds, including maps, and Activision never said anything (because it suited them). Now, since they want to sell you an annual game full of bugs, they don't tolerate it.
Well sure, there was a time where developers only released 2 or 3 patches after a release just to fix bugs and nothing more. Keeping the game alive and improving on it was kinda left to the community... Activision is to big now to let anyone touch their stuff.
Ironic that the battle royale genre that gave new life to shooters spawned mostly from a mod.
They didn't need any more patches because they were well made games with very few start-up errors. You say that Activision is too big now, bigger towers have fallen and that won't save them from burning, they are doing it wrong, they laugh at the players just for their own benefit.
Also, turning a game that was fair for the player into a game of chance (like a slot machine) for whoever invests the most money is not fun for anyone (except for compulsive gamblers).
I have been a player for many years and they don't fool me, if they fool me once it's their fault, if they fool me twice it's my fault.
Enjoy what?????? I didn't know you could enjoy a game full of bugs, cheaters and hackers, are you blind? Don't you see the million complaints a day on the forum and the bad practices of the company?.
If you enjoy it, well for you, you must be one of the few, I enjoy it when my money is well spent on a quality product.
