Is cod really getting worse or are we just aging
I have played cod since Cod 3. I really can't tell if the cod games have got worse since cod ghosts or if I am just getting too old for cod at this point (im 28). The only game in recent times I liked was Cold War & that is because it felt so much like Black Ops 2. Besides that, this series straight up is lost on me now. This is the first year that I don't even care for Black ops 6. Those leaked gameplays actually made it worse to the point I wonder if I will even bother wasting time with the beta. Is cod really getting worse or am I just old af now

I have played COD since the original MW2 and the NEW MW3 is the latest I have purchased (the last being Ghost in 2013) and I have no intention of purchasing any more COD or Black Ops games, this will be the last for me, in my opinion the game play is terrible, spawning dreadful (spawn, die, spawn, die repeat, repeat). Others may have a different opinion / viewpoint.

The Omni Movement is going to be the next breaking point for a lot of veterans.

The arguments in the game hubs about Jet Packs and stuff split the community since Advanced Warfare.

:nkCool:

Interestingly enough, I didn't mind advanced warfare. That may just be because it was the first innovation of movement at all so it was a bit of novelty. This omni movement stuff got me tired & I haven't even played it myself yet lol. It seems in the past, gunplay was what defined skill. Whereas nowadays it just seems to be movement abuse instead of actual gunplay

The spawn logic on recent cods leaves a lot to be desired

The cod we knew and loved is GONE and it's NEVER coming back. Stop having dreams of activision following a different path other than the current and accept the fact the each new title will be worse than the previous in one way or another.

That is why you stop buying their new game(s).

Both.

We are no longer kids.

And games are no longer as good.

watch the reviews. older ones have 80-95% positive. Newer ones have 13-55% positive.

both
1] im older:
but not in a "cant keep up" way..
more in a "cant be bothered with the bullsh:dirtytp: anymore"...slide...Slide...weapon swap....slide...instant lock-on....slide...weapon swap.

2] its getting worse:
the game now caters to sweaty cave trolls and streamers, if you dont have an army of toe-sniffing simps, then acti-blizz-micro wont listen to you, the normal players.

the anti cheat is almost laughable, to the point im pretty sure there are more cheaters on consoles (USB devices) than "old school" cheaters on pc (software).

the players: seeing every player with a paid-for skin makes me think mating with vegetables is now a thing - you buy more skins = thats all they start to care about = the game suffers.

SBMM: is a meat grinding joke, all it does is feed you to sweaty 8 hour-a-day players so they keep buying skins - yes..i know simps, "it duh skill issue EZ hurr durr git gud hurrr" - go parrot your wannabe streamer babble elsewhere.

tl;dr older and wiser, meaning i can see the bullsh:dirtytp: the game has become.

They have worsened in a brutal way and are much worse than the initial ones and I tell you that I have been playing this saga since its beginnings in 2003, now they are bad as well as being expensive.

That's not true, I still enjoy video games just as much as I did when I started in the early 80s of the last century, and when a product that was good and cheap is now bad and expensive, it has nothing to do with age.
You are totally wrong, speak for yourself, if you no longer enjoy it, it's your problem.
