Game freezes at the main menu [FIX]

OK, hear me out:

Fire up the game like you usually do. When that pop-up (safe mode) shows up, hit NO. Then, just let the game load until it freezes and let it stay like that ~ 5 minutes. After that, hit the Windows key on your keyboard to bounce to the desktop. Then just click the game icon on the taskbar and wait for ~ 5-10 minutes. It might feel like it’s stuck, but trust me—it’ll load up like normal.

If nothing is happening just hit windows key again and click the game icon again until you see the screen flash for 1 second and It will load instantly.

I KNOW it sounds dumb, but it works. I'm in the game as we speak

It works; I've posted some proof. There's nothing more I can do at this point...

Try it and see, it only takes a few minutes. I'm sure they'll come up with an official fix soon. This is just a workaround.

Running modded games with 1000+ mods loads faster than cod and those games do not have to crash and restart for updates. The problems with this game never end...
