MW2 keeps crashing on selection something about "cod22"

So I used to play MW2 a whole bunch last year but uninstalled after a while, and recently I came back since I got the "itch" only for MW2 to constantly crash when I select the multiplayer from "Cod HQ"

I keep getting "Error Code: 0x00001338 (12005) N
and the executable keeps talking about "cod22/cod22-cod.exe"

I have tried everything to fix it and it just refuses to work.... is my MW2 just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ forever now??

Nope, still broken, I can't play it. But BO6 and MW3 works perfectly fine.....
