Low GPU and CPU usage in Multiplayer
I am having a weird issue since the last update for Season 3.

Issue: When I enter a match on multiplayer my cpu and gpu fall to 10-20% usage, my ping goes from 12 to 250-300, and I get about 5-15fps.

I have no issues when I run the benchmark, play Warzone, DMZ, sitting at main screen/lobby, and single player. Issue only happens on multiplayer.

Game ran perfect before this most recent patch for season 3

Here is what I have done so far for troubleshooting(not in a certain order):
-Rolled back gpu drivers to last two versions
-Wiped gpu drivers with DDU and reinstalled 531.61
-checked windows updates. Installed and rolled back updates for those as well.
-power management set to high performance
-set cod exe in gpu scheduler
-verified game files in Steam
-deleted cod user settings files and installed again
-reinstalled cod
-installed on another ssd
-reinstalled shaders
-launched in admin
-adjusted firewall permissions for cod
-disabled windows defender antivirus
-tried both game ready and studio drivers from nvidia
-unistalled drivers in device manager/reinstalled using nvidia drivers
-disabled/enabled gpu acceleration
-disabled overclock on both gpu and cpu
-ran game in low, medium, and high settings. Turned off dlss and other settings.

PC Specs:
I9 10850k
-no overclock
RTX 4080 Zotac Amp Extreme
- Nvidia Studio driver 531.61
- no overclock
3440x1440 120hz
32gb ddr4 3200mhz
-xmp enabled
corsair hx1500i psu
Game installed on 970 evo m.2 1tb
gigabit internet

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Been working on this for the last 3 days.

They mess up all your settings in the game with S03....

Close game and steam
If you have played Campaign, copy and past the savegame.svg to another folder, from:

Your Doc folder/Call of Duty/Players/Numbers - then delete the call of duty folder.
All you settings in the game will be reset to default.

Open the game and do your prefered settings in M/KB, Graphics, Audio, Interface and network. Apply for each change when needed.

Close game, waith 15 sec. Restart and see if there is any improvement.

I did this and was back on fps, fixed graphics, audio, loadouts and matchmaking.

It IS a long shot, but it worked for me and many others with huge fps drops and other issues in the game.

I just got back in on season 3 because of Gun Fight. I can play a few rounds and then the stuttering get's unbareable. The recent patch hasn't done anything to fix it. I made sure to update any drivers. I'm running a rtx308012gb, ryzen7 3700x, 16gb ram. I didn't see stuttering issues like this past the first month of launch. Now it's somewhat not in a playable state.

Update:
Cod had an update today. It seems to have fixed my issue. fps, latency, cpu/gpu usage are back to normal. Looks like they fixed it

I found a solution. Launch the game, then collapse the game and launch the task manager, right-click on the game and select in detail, find cod.exe ., after right-clicking and selecting "Set affinity" and selecting (CPU 0, CPU 1, CPU 2, CPU 3), click Ok. The method works for CPU 6-12 cores
