Invisible enemy?

So i was playing Al Mazrah Duos dropping in Bagra Fortress, my teammate keeps getting downed by unknown enemy he can't even ping it because he doesn't know where it is coming from. After reviving him he wiped us out, kill cam shows he's just beside us and running around the building WITH NO FOOT STEPS HEARD! I tried to record it via Nvidia Shadowplay but it was too late.

I took this guy's name, sorry if you read this bro. I don't know if you're hacking or just a bug but it just ruined my mood and game.

I don't know if it is a bug or a hack but dang after i stopped playing for a month, my first game was ruined by this bug or hack.

Edit: In regards to "killall -q" calling me a hacker/cheater, i am playing Solo in Al Mazrah Duos with SQUAD FILL ON. I will mark it's reply as the answer but also it doesn't answer my question if my random teammate using hacks will trigger the richochet anti cheat.

If the enemy is invisible to your teammate, that means your teammate is cheating. There is a feature of Ricochet anti-cheat called "cloaking" that hides legitimate players from cheaters.

Oh i see, im not using hacks btw but my guess is my chinese teammate.

i dont use hacks btw, im suspecting my chinese teammate though. i play solo in duos with squad fill on. Guess i should go solo in duos then lol.

I guess, quick update. specially mentioning "killall -q". Im playing solos in BR Duos. I can now see the enemy crystal clear after that incident fyi.

This is wrong , there are hackers who can toggle invisiblity. There was a guy glitching/having invisbility , he downed my teammates then my teammate plead , joined him and invited me.

When I was invited to the team , couldnt even see his name. I then downed someone and he was invisible and killed that person. Then we go into a car and he toggled off his invisibility.

He was invisible for all 3 of us players. I was playing with 1 friend and 1 random. We dont hack , its the hackers who found a way to use the system meant to "grief hackers" , but MW2 is too lazy to ban them

And then everyone stood up and clapped. Just because you say it happened one way, doesn't mean there aren't other ways for something else to happen.

In this case, no one knows (aside from OP) how it went down. It could be Ricochet's anti-cheat or it could be another factor. So, no, it's not "wrong".

In multiplayer we've seen people clip into walls on the Embassy map where you can't see them. It doesn't seem to hinder their gunfire at all. You just can't see them unless they move a certain way exposing their gun barrel.

Wondering if it's something like this being abused?

I can't even accuse my teammate also because i have no proof of him cheating. My stats dont lie, i suck at BR thats why i go duos/trios/quads with randoms or with friends. Cheating won't help me and so does the community.

Same thing happened in previous warzone. It's an in-game glitch or bug. Hope they fix it too in Warzone 2.
