FPS DROP SOLUTION?
HELLO GUYS!

As we know since new update we all have issues with fps (massive drops). In some cases updating GPU to the latest GE FORCE DRIVERS may solve or partially eliminate the problem with fps. In my case fps seems to be back to normal but there’s still some gap in performance.

Try to update your GPU drivers and set your VideMemoryScale to 2.000000 in cod document settings see if it works.

Let me know in the comment if it works for ya,
Peace.

Driver update hasn’t worked. Some say adjustment of upscaling/render resolution solves it temporarily, but no permanent fix

AMD FSR 2.1 is also amazing even with NVidia cards,

Doesn't make sense if you don't tell us what you did?
They ♥♥♥♥ up all your settings in the game with S03....

Close game and steam
If you have played Campaign, copy and past the savegame.svg to another folder, from:

Your Doc folder/Call of Duty/Players/Numbers - then delete the call of duty folder.
All you settings in the game will be reset to default.

Open the game and do your prefered settings in M/KB, Graphics, Audio, Interface and network. Apply for each change when needed.

Close game, waith 15 sec. Restart and see if there is any improvement.

I did this and was back on my original fps. I have a RTX card

There is no AMD FSR 2.1 for MW2 Campaign, Only 1.0, Can only use 2.1 on Multiplayer (Bad dev choice)

Bad.

Multiplayer is now playable, but still gets FPS drops.
Campaign is flat out unplayable without FSR 2.1

I can run RE4 Max 1440p with FSR 60fps.

This game, Lucky to get 30. And its looks FAR FAR WORSE. lol

Worst cod to date, not due to content but QA
as the quality is pish.

i wouldnt reccomend changing and deleting game files, that usually ends up getting people banned
Start MW2 then navigate to the following at the Main Menu:
1.Settings
2.Graphics
3.Quality
4.On-Demand Texture Streaming - Turn This OFF. It is ON by default.
5.Apply.
Play your game again with no stutter.
Please do not delete any files. (and) I'm sure your network is fine.
Hope this helps.
