Watch trailers then decide. Watch gameplay videos if you have to for multiplayer.
But you should get cod on game pass. Don't get it on steam unless your okay with random network issues caused by steam. Like Tuesday maintenance

Yeah. You can use any device you want to play with.

Scroll to bottom it tells you the difference between the game pass versions. https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-game-pass

You can also call xbox if you have questions.

Make sure to turn off recurring billing when subscribing. So it ends when membership is over and then just rebuy when you want and turn billing off again.

There isn't really an objective answer to this. If you want the current game, with ongoing content being released throughout the year then BO6 is the go-to as it's the title in life. BUT, if you want the most content for your buck, then MWIII is a great place to start as it has some maps and all the weapons & operators from MWII as well as a whole years worth of its own content.

MWIII has a few of the new MWII's maps, as well as remakes of the entire OG MW2's map pool, and its own selection of original maps and map variants (about 67 maps total). You also get to play with 2 years worth of weaponry, as well as their respective camo grinds (and new ones if you play Zombies), as well as a ton of challenges to finish up.

The only downside to playing MWIII now is that you gain nothing from playing it anymore, so you're playing solely for XP in that game (and maybe Warzone if you plan on using MWIII guns over there). Battle pass and other seasonal unlocks are BO6 only, and with rumors going around about the next CoD having carry foward from BO6, it may sway your opinion on which one would be more worthwhile in the future.

Personally, I like both games. For MP though, MWIII is my go-to. For Zombies, BO6 is amazing (though I was one of those anomalies that loved MWIII's zombies mode). It's up to you to figure out which mode interests you more and going from there. Hope this helped you :steamhappy:
MWIII mogs BO6, easily the most MP content in the entire series and a Zombies mode that actually stands out(less to do than BO6, but there's actually a reason to try MWIII Zombies while BO6 can easily be replaced by 8 other COD games.)

MW2/3 is a 9/10, BO6 a 3/10 at best.
Zombies fan? Campaign enjoyer? Bo6
Multiplayer fan? Bo6

FACT: If you could unlock the weapons in MW2 or MW3 no one would play BO6... 100%
