Player count has halved since the release. (actually more than half)

Yikes. Remember when we all thought this was the game that was going to turn cod around and bring it back?

inb4: "all games player count drop after release".

MW3 had a lower peak player count at launch, around 190k on steam, and by this time last year, it only dropped to 140k.

BO6 peaked around 300k on steam, and is already down to 100k.

What are the odds activision/treyarch can fix the issues? Is cod gonna finally die in a few more games? I'd put money down that "COD" stops getting new releases after 3 years, and they switch to full warzone or just cancel it all together.

yeah. maybe it will crash and burn unless they realize that SBMM/EOMM (everything is rigged!) in core game modes does not retain players long term with Cod like the Golden Era cod games.

alreadly starting to lose my interest in it due to ♥♥♥♥ lag and broken servers coz cod went cheap on that part like they did with mw3 before bo6.. would of been great to be able to play the game but nope one match works great the next is trash and i know a fact it aint my end issue its theirs coz i can play battlefield with zero issues of lag or anything but only time will till they realise that they just doing it for them selfs etc

Round based Zombies is carrying the heavy water for the franchise. Oh, and lets not forget the player numbers on Steam are for MWII, DMZ, WZ, MWIII, and BO6 combined. Maybe folks are tired of a substandard product, year after year.

i Was upset all my warzone stuff was removed. Wasted money on the pass and had a bunch of stuff that was genuinely removed. Started trying this game out to see if it improved at least only to join when they removed armory, The only way to get some of the best guns in the game rn. Its been a few weeks. Still removed. So i just uninstalled.

Game is not fun for a variety of issues and many of those have been mentioned in various posts.

Mid zombies, trash campaign, trash multi maps, sbmm/eomm, rampant cheaters, bot lobbies, etc. The franchise is doomed. Time to move on and give your money to a more deserving studio.
