Zombies, can you swap field upgrades mid game for SAM trial?

So one of the things that has been really bugging me in zombies is the SAM trial for killing zombies with the energy mine field upgrade. I get this when I solo a lot but I never use energy mine, I use frenzy every game unless there's a daily for something else.

I've heard from some people say you can swap field upgrades mid game to complete the trial, but none have told me how. I can't find anything when I search for this. It get's frustrating when 2-3 trials in a row trigger it and I can't get any credit for it.

Does anyone know if there is a way to swap mid game? or is that just one you can't do unless you bring energy mine?

Pretty sure its in the pause menu.

yes you can in the pause menu theres a option to swap field upgrade
