MWZ Act 2 - Tier 2 - Shocked doesn't work

Not working stun 5 Special Zombies with Dead Wire Ammo Mod
I kill ~50 special zombies with dead wire solo and party, upgraded and non-upgraded weapons. No one special zombies none counted

It will take quite some rng to get the mission done. Took me about 3 runs. The effect triggers once per mag so make sure to unload all the bullets on the special zombie without hitting the normal zombies. To increase the potency of the effect, PAP your gun to level 2 (at least level 1). If you are worried that the gun is too strong and might kill the boss instead, shoot the torso area and avoid landing headshots. Also, use short bursts rather than holding the trigger down.

There is no problem with the mission as many, including I, have finished it. Don't lose patience.

As I have already mentioned, I have already finished the mission in question. I am currently on act 3.

I finished mine by killing specials that are just roaming or the ones that spawn on Nests/Raid on tier 2. I dont recall ever getting it to work on bounty. This also the same for all other missions involving ammo mods. And Im also on Act 3. Best thing you can do is do a Raid weapon and leave the safr every now and then to wait for specials to spawn

I did mine with Escort missions. They usually spawn 4 or 5 Manglers. Had 4 out of 5 in one run,

The special ammo dont work on big bounty bosses, dont waste your time.

Also dont upgrade your weapon, the more shots you put out in the boss, the better the chance for the special ammo to proc.

Use another weapon, so the proc counter on the weapon that has it resets.

If you finished it, what weapon did you use? I can't seem to get one shock on any special zombie.

Don't know if anyone still needs this, I used the WSP smg with 1 PaP and ran around zone2 looking for manglers, seemed to work well, lower damage but high RoF managed to trigger it 2 times per manglers, you do blow through ammo though

I had the same issue recently, none of the kills seemed to register correctly. I finally got it by using this tip from GreenXero on Reddit:

There is an island that spawns a special/elite. Located in G3. You can drive past it on a boat and shoot it. You can actually get credit multiple times for the same special, if you hit it enough, without killing it.

It respawns if you leave the area for a short time, then come back, so you get a new elite(or if one doesn'tspawn). Should take 5-10 minutes. Hardest part is keeping the boat moving, while you shoot, so you don't get hit by zombies throwing guts at you.

Edit: I didn't follow their exact advice. I just jumped off the boat and circled the island, killing zombies. In my case, the respawns occurred within seconds of killing the previous special zombie.
