PS 5 Contoller Was Working but now says not supported...?

For the past few days I have been playing MW3 on my computer with my PS5 dualsense controller... all of the sudden it is telling me the game doesn't support that controller. I have still been able to play but the controller will not pull up the map on zombies so I am going in blind. Anyone know why it changed after I'd already played hours of MW3 with the PS5 controller without a single issue??

are you bluetooth connected or wired? If bluetooth connected try removing device under bluetooth settings then pairing again. Or try it wired 1st and see if it works. Its What i would try

If you have another controller also test it and see if it works. Even if xbox controller. Start narrowing down possible issues. Test if bluetooth connected other bluetooth devices, never know if its that as an issue.

No it’s like the game itself was supporting the controller but now isn’t. It’s not a problem with the controller itself.

I don t use Steam input and they both work.
Tho I only got vibration on the triggers during the ending killcam if I press them.

Since I am on Steam Deck I have to make the set the priority of gamepad evertime I start the game. I need also to start the game from big picture mode to have that setting available,

open the game first. then plug your controller in and it will work as it should. microsoft takes over cod and all of a sudden the playstation controllers arent supported anymore lol

I mean how else will microsoft make money in gaming? Everything they touch turns to garbage. We should all be very worried where they are about to take COD as a franchise. Everybody thought Bobby was bad, shheeeet wait until Phil starts touching this franchise.

Tbh its same for me. i realised its to do with the steam update. if you look at other games its exactly the same thing.

I am having issues also. PS5 dualsense is becoming garbage controller with its stiick drift anyway. probably made next door to the joy cons.

This just happened to me, no fix? I did everything in here and I still can't use my dualsense. Plugged in the game gives me both controller and mkb prompts. Its a mess rn. It's only this game, my others work fine.
